Welcome to the COLMCILLE PIPE BAND website let us know what you think when you have finished your visit.

The band was formed on Tuesday 16^th May 1978 in the Hasson family’s living room. That’s where the band practiced for the first six months - pipers in the living room and drummers in the kitchen - so many thanks go to May & Barney Hasson.
The band has always been a big part of the Hasson family life. Barney passed the band on to his son Brian and Brian has now passed this on to his own family. His five sons and one daughter all play in the band with him today - Mark is the Pipe Major, Brian is the Drum Sergeant and Daniel is the Pipe Sergeant. So many thanks must go to his wife Angela - she is the most patient woman on earth!

Our band is open to anyone interested in playing the bagpipes or drums, but enough of the history lesson, browse our new website and share our vision for the future of the C.C.P.B. Colmcille Pipe band
